Tombstone Tuesday: Room with a View

How would you like a room with a view of the New York City skyline? It boasts a park like setting, a water view and quiet neighbors, who mind their own business. 


MJ is trying to get the GPS coordinates of this beautiful spot in Old or First Calvary Cemetery in Woodside, Queens County, New York. Woodside is located on Long Island.


The story of how we found this grave is part spooky and part serendipitous and I will share it with you on the next Tombstone Tuesday.

    Thank you Cheryl, that is so nice of you to say! I did change the exposure of the skyline with Lightroom as it was very washed out in the original.

    My great-grandparents, Eugene and Anna Grace, are also buried there. Can't wait to read the story.

    Great shot, and what a huge cemetery. Can't imagine what it was like there on 9/11. Looking forward to next Tuesday.
